Prepare 4 sets of tender documents including: working drawings, specification, details of existing sewerage and stormwater drainage, copy of DNR or registered survey plan, surveyors contours and levels and other associated documentation.
Additional sets of tender documents are for sale at $200 a set.
Prepare tender letter advising of details and closing date.
Issue tender documents to selected builders.
Liaise with prospective builders where required assisting with clarification of design, specifications or issues.
Open tender documents with owners after closing date.
Collaborate with owners and assist with choosing a successful builder.

It is the owner's final responsibility to check the background, financial position, and BSA history of the selected builder. After selection the owner should make direct contact with the selected builder and clarify any outstanding issues and discuss signing a contract. Only an approved HIA, QMBA, or BSA contract should be used. The designer will send a letter to the unsuccessful builders thanking them for their participation in the process.
